Disney's 'Big City Greens' has landed a second season renewal even before its premiere! The animated comedy-adventure revolves around a mischievous and quite optimistic country boy who moves to the big city with his wildly out of place family. The series makes its debut on June 18 at 9:30 a.m. EDT/PDT, on Disney Channel.

Created and co-executively produced by brothers Chris and Shane Houghton, who are essentially comic book writers, the story is inspired and influenced by their own childhood memories growing up in the small rural town of St. Johns, Michigan. Many of the locations and characters inspired by their real-life family members and townsfolk.

Season 1 will have Jon Hamm, Raven-Symoné, Busta Rhymes, Danny Trejo, Lorraine Toussaint, Jim Rash and Paul F. Tompkins as guest stars this time.

Eric Coleman, senior vice president, Original Programming and general manager, Disney Television Animation, said, "Drawing upon their personal experiences, Chris and Shane have created a 'fish-out-of-water' series that consistently delivers stories with big laughs and plenty of heart. We're eager for viewers to get to know the tight-knit Green family and their endearing relationships that will be universally appealing to kids and families."

The series is a part of Disney Channel's GO! Summer special programmes. Following the debut week, new episodes will premiere throughout the summer on Monday and Wednesday mornings. It will also be available on Disney's official YouTube channel. Along with the series, Disney will also debut their DisneyNOW app and it will feature a multiplayer game based on BCG called 'Big City Battle!' where players compete against each other to earn their place as members of the Green family.

Chris Houghton voices Cricket Green, Artemis Pebdani as sweet Gramma Alice, Marieve Herington, from 'How I Met Your Mother' as quirky older sister Tilly Green and Bob Joles from 'Puss in Boots' as hard-working father Bill Green.
