Who is Alyssa Lopez? 'Big Brother' contestant parties with 'Siesta Key' cast members
'Big Brother' Season 23 went through a last-minute cast shakeup after Christie Valdiserri tested positive for Covid-19. New York-based AI engineer Claire Rehfuss will be taking her spot. Joining her on this epic journey will be 15 other housemates, of whom Alyssa Lopez is one. A quick glance at her Instagram feed will tell you that she's more than just a beach baby. We'll come to that in a bit.
As you get ready to binge on the new season, here are a few hit reality shows you can watch throughout the week. While Netflix scored gold with 'Love is Blind' and 'Too Hot To Handle', CBS was not far behind with 'Love Island' and its swimwear-clad contestants.

Who is Alyssa Lopez?
This 24-year-old Sarasota resident loves the beach and swimwear, which explains why she has been partying with the 'Siesta Key' gang. While Juliette Porter and Camilla Cattaneo have commented on some of her posts, Amanda Miller featured in one of her party photos. But she's more than just a party girl.
Talking to CBS ahead of the premiere, she revealed a handful of fun facts about her: "I was featured on a Hooters billboard and taxi top. I have my Drone Aircraft License and I did gymnastics for 10 years." This aside, Lopez will be launching a swimwear line soon.
The "witty, sarcastic, and outgoing" housemate has a winning strategy in place and is not afraid to share it with the world. "My strategy for winning the game is to win the very first HOH. I think the first HOH is the most important one. I would then be able to align myself with powerful physical and mental players, but I’d also try to make a final two alliance with someone outside of that. That way I can see the game from all angles," she said.
'Big Brother' Season 23 premieres on July 7 at 8/7c on CBS. The summer reality hit series will air three episodes every week. Beginning July 11, the show will return on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the same time. For more information, check your local listings.
