'Big Brother' Season 22: Kaysar opens up on Black Lives Matter, says 'whispers should be heard'

Kaysar Ridha commented on the Black Lives Matter movement while also opening up about being on the spectrum

'Big Brother' Season 22 started with a bang as the cast members had to start off their day in the house with a competition. Cody Calafiore became the first person to be crowned as the Head of Household. As everyone continues to play the game and think of a strategy that could lead them to win, some decided to comment on serious topics that had been taking place outside the house. 

Kaysar Ridha commented on Black Lives Matter movement that had taken over the US while talking to Da'Vonne Rogers. The topic came up when Kaysar was keen on finding out how Da'Vonne had been calmer this season. She was quick to say that she came to the house by leaving everything to God. Da'Vonne admitted that if God wanted her to win the game, she would, and if not, she would be okay with going back home. As their conversation progressed, Kaysar decided to comment on what had been happening outside the house. He stated that it was time for the US to reach a state where the whispers should be heard. 

Adding that many people still struggle to get their voices heard, he admitted that it was not a pretty scene outside. Da'Vonne agreed with Kaysar and was happy that they had this conversation. This was not the first time that Kaysar was getting real about what happens in the world. During a conversation, Ian Terry revealed that he is on the spectrum. 

Ian admitted that he did not like reading reports that focused on him being autistic. He further added that he wants people to know that people with autism can also make a difference and live a life just like everyone else. However, Ian added that the place is not a good one for people with autism to be in as he said, "I hate this game... not fun. This is like autistic hell... and I mean, you know, you can tell right?"

Kaysar was quick to add that he knew Ian was autistic and admitted that he was too. The two bonded on how things can be hard some times but their conversation ended with Kaysar promising Ian that he would look out for him. While there is no doubt that the contestants are all thinking about winning the game, it looks like, amid all this, some of them are ready to form connections.  

'Big Brother' Season 22 will air on August 13 at 8 pm ET on CBS.
