'Big Brother' Season 22: Who won Power of Veto, are Bayleigh and Da'Vonne safe this week?
Da'Vonne Rogers and Bayleigh Dayton were selected to be on the block this week by Christmas Abbott. It came as a shock to both of them as they had expected someone else to be on the block. However, with no option but to win the Power of Veto (POV), Da'Vonne and Bayleigh knew that they had to bring their A-game to the competition.
For the POV competition this week, Christmas, Da'Vonne and Bayleigh were already running for the competition. Dani Briones, Nicole F and Ian Terry were selected as the other three members to play the match. Unfortunately, Ian was not feeling well and the medic advised him to stay out of the game. This left all the girls playing against each other. For the first time in this season, all the girls were fighting for the POV but only one of them could win. For the competition, the players had to look at the math problems showing on the screen. Once the two numbers added to 13, they had to run and press on the buzzer.
If a person stepped out of the line when the answer was wrong, they would be eliminated from the competition. While one would think that it was a simple game to play, the pressure was on the girls to make sure they do not move from their mark before the number adds up to 13. Without wasting any second, each one of them took their position. As the numbers showed, Da'Vonne was the first person to get eliminated. Dani was not too happy about it as she had some plans up her sleeves if Da'Vonne were to win. The second person to get eliminated was Bayelgih.
This left Nicole, Dani, and Christmas in the game. As the game went on, Dani became the third person to get eliminated. Nicole thought that she could lose the game for Christmas. However, Christmas wanted to play a fair game and asked Nicole to play the game as it is. When the time came, Christmas managed to win the competition and the POV.
She decided to keep the block as it is and that meant either Da'Vonne or Bayleigh would be leaving this week.
'Big Brother' Season 22 airs on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 pm ET on CBS.
