LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amy and Marlo Leinbach, a mother-daughter duo, will exhibit Big Bee Little Bee, their line of creative goods for kids and adults that help eliminate single-use plastics, in an upcoming episode of 'Shark Tank'. There will be lots of other business pitches throughout the episode, but viewers can feel confident that this will be the one to watch.

Single-use plastic goods (SUPs) are used once or for a limited time before being discarded. The environmental and health consequences of this plastic trash are global and can be severe. Single-use plastics are more likely to wind up in our oceans than reusable alternatives. To fight the problem, the mother-daughter team has devised a solution in the guise of their product line, Big Bee Little Bee.

What is Big Bee Little Bee?

Big Bee Little Bee is a firm that creates unique and inventive goods for both children and adults that help eliminate single-use plastic. This mother and daughter collaborate to create, develop, and market themselves. Clean Bee Reusable Multi-Purpose Towels, Build a Straw Easy Clean Silicone Straw, The Big Scrubee Easy Grip Silicone Scrubber, The Scrubee Easy Grip Silicone Scrubber, and the Marker Parker Coloring Organizer are some of the goods it has produced. All of their products are designed to reduce single-use plastic. Amy and Marlo created the first product, Scrubee, at the start of the company. The Original ScrubBEE Silicone Scrubber was their winning product, and it was the catalyst for the company's success.

Build-A-Straw

Build-A-Straw is a reusable silicone straw that disassembles into four interchangeable sections. This allows you to make any length of the straw and makes cleaning the interior with the accompanying straw cleaner a breeze. The Build-A-Straw is constructed of dishwasher safe food grade silicone that is lead, PVC, and BPA-free.

The Original ScrubBEE

The Original ScrubBEE is a silicone scrubber with an easy grip that is designed to gently clean sensitive skin and teach children about proper hygiene. It is made of 100% FDA-approved silicone and is dishwasher-safe. The ScrubBEE comes with a free reusable soap saver pouch, which is ideal for storing bar soap.

The Marker Parker

The Marker Parker is a colored marker organizer with tapered, snugly fitting columns that allow your child to remove a marker while keeping the cap in the Parker. This means you won't have to waste time looking for marker caps that have rolled away or tossed away dried-out markers. Marlo designed the Marker Parker when she was just six years old.

Who is the founder of Big Bee Little Bee?

Amy Leinbach, the proprietor of Big Bee Little Bee is a former teacher and businesswoman who has been doing voice-over work since she was a child. She valued assisting children in overcoming specific problems, teaching them problem-solving skills, and encouraging them to be more self-sufficient. Amy's major goal with Big Bee Little Bee is to empower children. Marlo, like her mother, is an innovator and an excellent student. Marlo aspires to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a voice-over artist. They founded the company in 2016, and Amy believes that Marlo inspires all of their creations. Marlo is a student who is actively involved in all aspects of the business, including product development. She has also provided the voice of a talking doll for Mattel, a young Bachelorette on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and a small child in a forthcoming feature film.

Amy has always had a strong business drive. As a child, she owned imaginary businesses like a restaurant, travel agency, movie theatre, school, doughnut shop, and discount store named Cheap Amy's in her basement. Despite the fact that her only clients were her parents and brother, she was highly sensitive to their demands and the fictitious success of her enterprises. She even had pamphlets and video advertisements. Amy's childhood companies weren't all made up; she was a real-life voice actor in commercials for major brands like Procter & Gamble and General Mills. Amy was one of the actors that had the opportunity to say, "Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!" As an adult, she continued to perform voice-over work, notably Stella from Nickelodeon's 'Winx Club'.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Pepperdine University and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from the same institution. Amy had a business attitude from an early age and has done a lot of business, including Online EDge, EdgewiseOnline, and Balance Bead.

Amy has a flair for problem-solving, and she believes her business is all about creating efficiency in some of the procedures associated with everyday parenting. The Snow Angel Cushioned Baby Bath Towel was the inspiration for Big Bee, Little Bee. Amy created it for her (then) eight-month-old daughter after discovering that the towels on the market were unsuitable for the manner they bathed. She made the first one for her daughter, then a few more for friends, and after it passed the tests, she went into mass production. Amy released another product, the ScrubBEE Body Brush, a little more than a year later. Again, this product was designed for her two-year-old kid. Her daughter expressed an interest in washing herself, but Amy couldn't locate a tool that would allow her to do so effectively—a tool that she could easily hold and operate.

What is the cost and where to buy Big Bee Little Bee from?

Big Bee Little Bee products are designed to reduce the consumption of single-use goods. For example, towels are marketed as an alternative to paper towels. The pricing of the varied products might range from $6.99 and $69.99. You can order directly from the company's official website or find them on Amazon.

This company's first product, the 'Silicon Scrubber', was a huge success on Amazon and other sites. This product has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars on Amazon, with 85% of consumers giving it 5 stars.

Where is Big Bee Little Bee now?

When their items were featured on Good Morning America and The View in 2020, things really took off. These appearances landed them in Buybuy Baby stores across the country, allowing them to treble their retail footprint in smaller stores. The company makes over a quarter million dollars in sales every year. They're probably looking to increase that number, and a Shark may help.

Their award-winning product is currently enjoyed by 50,000+ families and is available in 500+ locations like Uncommon Goods, Buybuy Baby, and Bed Bath & Beyond. Amy has said on her website that she would donate 1% of her purchases to charitable causes. This company also won the 2019 National Parenting Product Awards.

Who will steal the deal?

Amy and Marlo will pitch the company's prospects for growth to a panel of five Sharks. Although, the brand's sales statistics and profit margins will ultimately determine whether the Sharks invest in the firm or not. Guest Shark Emma Grede, who is all about women's empowerment, may be interested in the business. So we'll just have to wait and see what happens with Big Bee Little Bee.

'Shark Tank' Season 14 Episode 5 airs on ABC on October 21, 2022, at 8 pm ET. Catch the latest episode featuring products like Big Bee Little Bee, Pretty Rugged, Plufl, and Bridal Babes.
