The panel of the American talk show 'The View' criticized President Joe Biden when he lashed out at Fox News' White House correspondent reporter Peter Doocy, calling him a "stupid son of a b***h.”

During a recent meeting on January 24 Monday, Peter Doocy asked Biden, "Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?" Biden sarcastically replied, "It’s a great asset. More inflation.” He added, "What a stupid son of a b***h"

Later, Biden called Doocy to apparently 'clear the air'. A guest co-host of The View Lisa Ling put forth her point of view, saying what Biden said was not a way of dismissing a 'dumb' question, it was more of a name-calling to the reporter. She added, "As a mom to young kids, these are the people who should be setting examples for our kids and it’s like yet more examples of men behaving badly and mothers eventually having to clean it up because it’s giving license to kids."

Agreeing with Ling's point of view, co-host Sunny Hostin said that what happened was "it’s beneath the dignity of the presidency." Referring to former President Trump, she added, "But what I appreciate is that he called and apologized. That’s something that we would have never heard the former, you know, twice-impeached, disgraced president of this country do." Ling added, "It’s true, but I think he should apologize to everyone."

As the discussion continued further, Ling asked if the panel of The View thinks that Biden 'should apologize' to the American public. Co-host Whoopi Goldberg blatantly said no. Replying rhertorically, co-host Joy Behar asked if Trump ever apologized to CNN's Jim Acosta, the then White House correspondent. Listing another example, Behar added that Trump had also insulted reporter Cecilia Vega during his presidency. The list continued to increase further. She added, "So, okay … stupid S.O.B, he says. It’s nothing compared to what Trump said or did.”

Ling then replied, "Behar can’t keep comparing [Biden] to Trump and  Doocy was asking about inflation, which is a real issue, and the midterm elections, which are right around the corner.” Hostin then said, "We have to hold him accountable for his behavior." Behar added, "He’s not Charles Manson."
