Cannibal couple kills 2 women with help of sex pervert and eats their flesh in black magic ritual to get rich

KERALA, INDIA: Two women in Indian state of Kerala were allegedly abducted, beheaded and buried as part of what is suspected was a black magic ritual to gain financial prosperity. Bhagaval Singh, a traditional healer who attended to patients at his home, and wife Laila Singh have been arrested for chopping up their two victims, cooking their remains and eating their flesh in an attempt to "preserve their youth". The incident took place at Elanthoor village in Pathanamthitta district.
Another man, Muhammad Shafi alias Rasheed, who masterminded the killings, was also arrested. Shafi had sexual aberrations, said police. Cops said the three of them "sacrificed" two women, both in their 50s, "in the name of superstition and black magic," according to local media. “He (Shafi) is the first accused in the case. The arrest of the healer and his wife would be recorded soon. The women were taken to the healer by Shafi on the promise of money. They adopted a very cruel method to kill the women,” Kochi City Police Commissioner CH Nagaraju said, according to The Indian Express. “We suspect that a ritualistic human sacrifice has taken place."

"We have to exhume the bodies of the women. The women were beheaded and their bodies were buried at Elanthoor in Pathanamthitta,” he added. Steps to exhume the bodies of the victums have been taken. “This is not going to be an ordinary missing case. This is a very complicated case with many layers,” Nagaraju said.
Police said Shafi found the victims, Roselin and Padma, on Facebook and brought them to the couple's house. He allegedly told them he would give them money for acting in a pornographic film. He then advised Bhagaval and Laila to perform the ritual. While Roselin disappeared in June, Padma went missing in September. Both of them sold lottery tickets in Ernakulam district of Kerala.
Padma was allegedly strangled, beheaded, and cut into 56 pieces by Shafi. Laila has been accused of strangling Roselin. Her breasts were cut off. "Shafi committed acts of sexual perversion on the women. He supplied women for sacrifice and cannibalism to clients," Nagaraju said, according to NDTV. One of the women was even tortured with a knife. "It seems like human flesh was consumed," he added. Nagarahu also said Shafi was "addicted to sexual perversion, delighted in cruelty, and was a psychopath". He said, "We're investigating whether there are more accused and if more such cases happened.”
The police discovered the murders when they were investigating Padma's disappearance after a woman, Palaniyamma, filed a complaint at the Kadavanthra police station reporting her sister Padma missing. The two missing victims' phones were traced to Shafi, who was tracked down with the help of security footage and a Scorpio car which had been abandoned by him. Police were eventually led to the couple's house in Pathanamthitta, where they confessed. Shafi has been accused of previously trying to rape an elderly woman.
“We have already got the confessional statements of the couple and the agent. The women were killed by the couple in a very cruel manner. The couple had been facing a financial crisis and they decided to sacrifice the women to appease God and come out of the crisis,” Nagaraju said.
