BET Hip Hop Awards 2020 Full Performers List: Big Sean to Quavo, here are all singers to feature in 15th edition

The award ceremony will be hosted by the popular podcast trio 85 South, and it will see some of the top global hip-hop artistes taking over the stage

It has been raining award shows from the last few months as all the ceremonies got pushed due to the unfortunate global pandemic. Fans are now, all geared up to watch BET Hip Hop Awards 2020. The 15th edition of the hip-hop awards will be hosted by the popular podcast trio 85 South and will see some of the top global hip-hop artistes taking over the stage with an intention to raise the temperature.

Here’s how the list of artistes performing at the coveted award ceremony looks like:

Big Sean

American rapper Big Sean is fresh off his career first number one album ‘Detroit2’ and therefore, it won’t be wrong to assume if he performs some of his hit songs from the same project like ‘Lucky Me’, ‘Why Would I Stop’, ‘Harder Than My Demons’ and ‘Body Language’ featuring Jhene Aiko and Ty Dolla $ign who are also one of the performers at the award ceremony. Interestingly, the rapper is also nominated in ‘Lyricist of the Year’ category.

Quavo

The hip-hop trio Migos’ member Quavo will also hit the stage at BET Hip Hop Awards 2020 and is expected to belt out his hit numbers like ‘Need It’, ‘Give No Fxk’, ‘Taco Tuesday’ and ‘Racks 2 Skinny’ among others.

2 Chainz

The 43-year-old American rapper, who is known for his uber-cool swag on the stage, is another artist who will mesmerise the audience with his hit songs like ‘No TV’, ‘Dead Man Walking’, 'Know You Know’ and ‘Can’t Relate’.

Ty Dolla $ign

Ty Dolla $ign is currently basking in the success of his brand new album titled ‘Featuring Ty Dolla $ign’ and therefore, he might belt out a few songs from the same project. Apart from this, he might also take over the stage with his other hit singles from 2020 like ‘Expensive’, ‘Ego Death’ and ‘Body Language’ with Big Sean and Jhene Aiko.

Gucci Mane

Gucci Mane is no less than a hip-hop icon and while performing at the BET Hip Hop Awards, he might floor his audience with songs like ‘Step Out’, ‘Lifers’, ‘Who is Him’ and ‘Freakiest in the World’.

She might also join Big Sean for their hit song ‘Body Language’ along with Ty Dolla $ign.

Burna Boy and Chris Martin

Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy collaborated with Chris Martin in August 2020 for their hit single ‘Monsters You Made’, and therefore, we can expect the duo to perform the same for the audience.

Lil Baby

The 25-year-old American rapper is one of the most discussed hip-hop artistes in the year 2020, thanks to his much-appreciated album ‘My Turn’ and other collaborative features. The American hip-hop duo from Miama, Florida consists of Yung Miami and JT. They shot to fame after making an uncredited guest appearance on Drake's chart-topping hit ‘In My Feelings’. The duo is expected to set the stage on fire with their 2020 hit single ‘P***y Talk’ featuring Doja Cat from their album ‘City on Lock’.

The 21-year-old female emcee is one of the other performers listed at 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards. She had dropped her debut album this year titled ‘Queen of Da Souf’, and therefore, she might belt out a song or two from the same project like ‘On God’ and ‘Youngest N Richest’.

Tobe Nwigwe

‘Make It Home’, ‘Eat’ and ‘I Need You To’ were some of the biggest hits of Tobe Nwigwe, someone who has got a fan in the form of Michelle Obama and Erykah Badu. He is expected to mesmerise his audience with the same songs at the renowned award ceremony.

Rapper DaBaby leads BET Hip Hop Awards nominations with 12, followed by Roddy Ricch with 11. Megan Thee Stallion has scored eight nods and is tied with Drake as the third most-nominated artist. Flo Mili, Snoop Dogg and rapper TI are some of the artistes who are part of the special guest list, as mentioned on the official website. BET Hip Hop Awards 2020, will take place on Tuesday, October 27, at 9 pm ET/PT. Fans can watch the award ceremony on BET as well as BET Her, VH1 and MTV2, or on BET.com with a cable, Philo or YouTube TV subscription. One can also stream it on Sling TV, AT&T TV Now, Philo and YouTube TV.
