Netflix's German comedy 'Berlin, Berlin: Lolle on the Run' is based on the German TV series 'Berlin, Berlin' and continues the story of Lolle, who's finally over her ex Sven and ready to marry her friend, Hart until unexpected circumstances prove they have something else planned for her.

'Berlin, Berlin: Lolle on the Run' will premiere on Netflix on August 7, 2020.
According to the official synopses of the movie, "Lolle's love life in Berlin is as complicated as ever. After the story with Sven, her second cousin was over, she got together with her best friend Hart and the two are about to get married. That is, if Sven doesn't ruin things."
Felicitas Woll as Lolle
The German actress is perhaps best known for her work in the original television series 'Berlin, Berlin' and the television film 'Dresden'. So celebrated is her role in the romantic comedy 'Lolle Lolle' that she won multiple accolades. In 2002, she won the Deutscher Fernsehpreis Best Actress, in 2003 Adolf-Grimme-Preis and in 2004, the Rose d'Or for best actress. She is also known for playing Bertha Benz in 'Carl & Bertha'.
Jan Sosniok as Sven Ehlers
His career began with a role in the German daily soap 'Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten'. Sosniok is well known for his role in the television series 'Berlin, Berlin' as Sven and in 'Die Erbin, Neue Schaubühne München' as Morris Townsend.
Matthias Klimsa as Hart
Klimsa plays the role of Sven's best friend Hart. The actor is best known for his work on 'The Peppercorns', 'The Garfield Show', and 'Stralsund: out of control'.
Janina Uhse as Dana
Uhse is known for her work in 'Unsere Zeit ist jetzt', 'How About Adolf?', 'Rising High', and 'The Country Doctor'.
Directed by Franziska Meyer Price, who is known for her work on 'Undercover Love', 'The Man Cave' and 'Double Trouble'.

The trailer shows Lolle being sentenced by a judge in her wedding dress. But we don't yet know the reason behind her arrest. But since she has to do community service, she is to enlist in a school. Other than that, the leading characters return in their element in this comeback movie that will not be disappointing.
