'Bering Sea Gold' Season 9 Episode 4 Preview: Can Bree Savage help Kris Kelly & Co in their quest for gold?
With the hunt for gold in the 'Bering Sea Gold' Season 9 intensifying, the captains are making use of qualified divers to get that extra edge to mine some gold. Kris Kelly of the Reaper, however, might have to make a decision about his latest recruit, Bree Savage. Much to his brother Andy's chagrin, Bree was brought in but didn't do her first dive as she forgot her diving boots. While this may have cost Kelly precious time and money, he was ready to give her another shot.
By the looks of it, the second attempt has to work for Kelly as he just loses money the longer he waits doing nothing. And at this rate, Kelly's hopes of reaching his target might just be dashed if his new hire cannot hold her own in the sea. While diving comes with its own dangers, the reward too is big once they get the hose and draw in the gold. For now, the Reaper skipper's go-to guy is his brother, Andy and by the looks of it, he just might be the man to take the plunge in the rough sea.
Since we're talking about divers, Vernon Adkison has a new diver on his team — Brian Donham. With the Adkisons' looking to make their efforts count this season, they rope in an additional member to help achieve their target. The question is, will Brian be able to dig some gold and prove his worth to the team? Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, the Shawn-Ken war rages on as competition heats up. Shawn is desperate to make up for the lost time and his determination to win back the title of 'Mr Gold' has been something the series has focussed on since the pilot episode. After making some major strides, it is safe to say Shawn is still in the game and he will prove to be a tough customer for Ken Kerr who's leading the pack.
