Who is Benny the Butcher's daughter and baby mama? Rapper 'shot' in armed robbery bid at Houston parking lot

One of the most prolific underground rappers from Buffalo, New York, Benny the Butcher most recently got shot in the leg after an attempted arm robbery in Houston. Houston PD spilled the beans to TMZ about the incident revealing that the New York rapper was visiting the town on Saturday, November 14, and was spotted at a local Walmart with a couple of friends.

According to the gossip site, five guys inside pulled up next to them asking for their chains when Benny the Butcher was in his car in the parking lot with his circle. The rapper and his buddies were apparently moving quite slow which pissed off the guys who attempted the robbery. They apparently shot the 35-year-old rapper in the leg and fled from the scene. It is also reported that Benny and his friends booked it too, but eventually pulled over and called the cops. The rapper was then taken to a hospital for the treatment and as of now, there is no update on his condition. TMZ reports that an investigation has already begun in the case. The gunfire incident comes a few hours after when rapper Badazz Boosie was also shot in the leg in Dallas.

Benny the Butcher, as we mentioned in the very beginning, belongs to Buffalo, New York, an area where robberies and gunfire incidents are a common thing which the rapper has discussed on several occasion in his various songs. Benny is a core member of the Griselda Records group and collective Black Soprano Family. The rapper has dropped several mixtapes and a few underground full-length projects but apart from dedication towards his rap career, Benny the Butcher is also close to his daughter who was born in 2006.

Though it is not clear whether his baby mama was his girlfriend but he has mentioned about his girlfriend, India, in a song with the same title and she has even appeared in his 2019 song called ‘5 to 50’, as reported by the website Stars Offline. Benny, whose real name is Jeremie Damon Pennick, has also addressed his daughter in his song called ’97 Hov’ where he pleads his daughter not be a hustler’s wife. Expressing his love for his daughter, he once tweeted about how much he pampers her. He had shared a screenshot of a message from his daughter and captioned the image as, “My 13 yr old daughter think she the boss of me.”



 

On another occasion, Benny had shared an Instagram picture with his daughter and captioned the pic as, “My daughter a princess and I’m a legend.”
