NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Amid the Israel war, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have denied that Israel is responsible for the air strike on a hospital in Gaza. The Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza has reported that at least 500 people were killed in the strike.

Following this incident, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to update more on what Netanyahu had said as Palestinians blamed Israelis for the hospital attack in Gaza.

However, Netanyahu’s remarks received backlash from the internet as several called him out after Hannity’s tweet.

Sean Hannity reports on Benjamin Netanyahu denying hospital attack in Gaza

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “NETANYAHU: "The barbarian terrorists in Gaza are the ones who attacked the hospital in Gaza, not the IDF. He who brutally murdered our children also murders his children.”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from the Fox News host's official website, titled, “BLAME GAME: Palestinians Say Israelis Hit Hospital in Gaza, IDF and Bibi Say Not So Fast [DETAILS].”

In the article, it was reported that Netanyahu and members the of IDF are denying that Israel is responsible for a hospital destroyed by rockets in Gaza.

Netanyahu took to X and wrote, “The entire world should know: It was the barbaric terrorists in Gaza that attacked the hospital in Gaza, and not the IDF. Those who brutally murdered our children also murder their own children.”

Additionally, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are conducting an investigation into the hospital incident and maintain that the facility was not deliberately targeted.

IDF said, “A hospital is a highly sensitive building and is not an IDF target.”

It continued, “The IDF is investigating the source of the explosion and, like always, is prioritizing accuracy and reliability. We urge everyone to proceed with caution when reporting on the unverified claims of a terrorist organization,” in a statement to Fox, as shared by Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst.

Also, Gilad Erdan, Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, declared, “The Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Central Gaza was not hit by Israel - it was hit by a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket.”

He also claimed, “The terrorists in Gaza are not only responsible for murdering Israeli children - they also murder Palestinian children!”

In his tweet on X, he further accused Palestinians, writing, “You’ve seen Hamas and PIJ beheading children. Stop believing these ISIS-like terrorists. The only ones shooting indiscriminate missiles at civilians are the Palestinians, who have been doing it for years!”

Internet slams Benjamin Netanyahu on denying Gaza hospital attack

After Sean Hannity reported about Netanyahu denying the remarks on the hospital attack in Gaza, the internet quickly flooded the Fox News anchor’s comment section and brutally slammed Israel's Prime Minister.

One person wrote, “I don't believe Netanyahu for one minute,” and another had a similar opinion, “Bibi is not very trustworthy- admit it!”

A person simply called out Netanyahu adding, “LIAR as usual, remember the decapitating of children.” A fourth wrote, “Yup, sounds plausible....hold on, isn't Netanyahu almost lying as much as Trump?”

“Fake News. IDF did this,” declared one person.

One more added, “He's LYING; Israel has been killing that captive Palestinian population, including women and children, with impunity for YEARS, and that was before declaring war on them.”

The same person further slammed the alleged actions of Israel, writing, “It's a disgrace that the world is watching helplessly while Israel is committing this barbaric genocide...”
