‘Below Deck’ stars Then and Now: A look into Bravo series cast's lives after working on superyacht
A look at what former cast members of ‘Below Deck’ are up to after the show
'Below Deck', an American reality TV series, debuted on Bravo on July 1, 2013. The series provides a glimpse into the lives of crew members living and working on a superyacht during the charter season. The show has spawned across several spin-offs, including 'Below Deck Mediterranean', 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht', 'Below Deck Down Under', and 'Below Deck Adventure'. The initial series was shot on a Caribbean charter in Sint Maarten, aboard the yacht Cuor di Leone, which was later renamed "Honor" for the show and captained by Lee Rosbach. The original crew was replaced by the cast for the duration of filming. In 2014, the series was renewed for a second season, featuring both returning and new cast members. This season saw the crew working on Ohana, a 153-foot yacht, during the charter season in the British Virgin Islands. After the second season, Bravo renewed 'Below Deck' for a third season, and in 2015, a spin-off titled 'Below Deck Mediterranean' was launched. The fourth season, filmed in the US Virgin Islands, was renewed in 2016. The fifth and sixth seasons premiered in places like Saint Martin, Tahiti, Phuket, and Thailand. However, the eighth season was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2021, Peacock commissioned a new spin-off titled 'Below Deck Down Under', which follows a superyacht in Australia. The ninth season was filmed in St Kitts, and the eleventh season is reportedly in the works for 2024.
