Simone and Kate have been having a hard time getting on the same page. The duo has expressed their concerns about each other and it does not look like things are getting better any time soon. In today's episode of 'Below Deck', Kate decided to give the stripes to Courtney as she thought she was more deserving than Simone.

According to Kate, Courtney was the only one who respected her as chief while also ensuring that all the tasks that had been assigned to her were done on time. Meanwhile, when it came to Simone, Kate thought that Simone was losing her grip over things and wasn't performing as well as others.

Ever since Simone started hanging out with Tanner, she has not been performing like she did before. Simone was quick to announce that she thought Courtney did not deserve the stripes as she was taught how to use the iron by her. At the same time, she highlighted how Kate was not being reasonable with her choices.

Simone had a feeling that Kate was bringing her personal grudges when it came to selection. However, fans thought otherwise. Many pointed out that Simone did not deserve the recognition she hoped for. "For Simone giving us her educational background she obviously never learned to respect a position. She is not a nice person," one fan wrote.

Another added, "I'm still Team Kate. Courtney deserved that second stripe. Simone sucks and has NO reason to be mad at Kate. She can't even properly make normal drinks." Some thought that it was important for Simone to learn how to do a good job as the comment read, "Simone is very immature and IMO she's used to mommy catering to her when home. It explains her lack of basic kitchen skills."

Even though Simone insists that she is better it looks like she will have a hard time proving this to the viewers.

'Below Deck' airs on Mondays at 9 pm on Bravo.
