'Below Deck' Season 8: Who is Eddie Lucas? Here's what happened to actor on Season 3 after which he quit show
'Below Deck' is back with a lot of surprises. While Kate Chastain has announced her exit from the show after succesful six seasons, Eddie Lucas is back as bosun. Fans will surely be sore about not being able to catch a glimpse of their favorite chief stewardess but the bosun should be able to salvage the loss because his return was unexpected after what happened in Season 3 of the Bravo-backed show.
So, what happened to Eddie on 'Below Deck' Season 3?
Eddie began the season with the news that he has a girlfriend, Amy, back home. But with time, he developed a liking towards Rocky Dakota. He admitted to cheating on her girlfriend with Rocky and it was quite the chaos for him. On an episode of 'Watch What Happens Live', Eddie told host of the chat show, Andy Cohen, that he and his now-ex-girlfriend tried to work things out after he returned from the charter but it "ended worse than ever". Unfortunately, her relationship with Rocky also didn't survive for long. They had a massive fight in the Season 3 finale episode after they were unable to decide whom to blame for their affair. Rocky even claimed that after the season was over and the filming had ended, they hooked up twice. However, on another episode of 'WWHL', the former couple denied the incidents.
What was Eddie upto during four seasons that he was gone?
Not being able to be a part of the crew on 'Below Deck' hasn't stopped him from being connected to the boating sector. He spent his years earning 1600-ton license and working on tugboats in Baltimore, Maryland. Clearly, his maritime skills are on point and approved by Captain Lee Rosbach, who once gave Eddie an earful in the most stern yet gentle manner when he admitted to cheating on Amy with Rocky. "When I expressed my disappointment, he took that pretty hard, and it was a conversation that I didn’t wanna have, but I had to because there were some things I thought he needed to hear," he had shared with The Daily Dish.
