‘Below Deck’ Season 7 Episode 6 preview: Abbi quits her job after announcing her engagement while Ashton and Kate end up kissing
The previous episode of ‘Below Deck’ saw deckhand, Abbi Murphy struggling to fulfill her job responsibilities and openly telling everyone that she hates her job and doesn’t want to be on the yacht. She also slacked quite a bit when to came to her work, which led to her boss, the bosun, Ashton Pienaar giving her a talk about being more dedicated to work.
Clearly Abbi didn’t appreciate it for the preview clip for next episode hints at her quitting her job. We hear Tanner commenting that Abbi just got engaged and she decides to jump the boat. The deck team seems to struggle with two of their members being unavailable. While Abbi quit her job, Tanner’s health doesn’t appear to have gotten any better, so even he’s unavailable to do his job. So we will have to watch what solution Ashton and Captain Lee come up with to address the shortage of staff.
It’s not all bad news for Ashton for the cliffhanger shows him and Kate engaging in a passionate kiss at a party. We are very curious to know what chain of events led to their kiss. Chef Kevin seems to have again put his foot in the mouth, when he served his guests beef tongue for their final dinner, when they specifically requested for beef brain. The guests didn’t look too pleased about the tongue. Kevin and Captain aren’t on the best of terms after Kevin failed to serve the captain his dinner in an earlier episode. Captain is right now just looking for an opportunity to sack the cook. We will just have to wait and watch to see if this error costs Kevin his job.
