Why did Sydney Zaruba expose Gary King on 'Below Deck'? Fans slam her for trying to 'sabotage' him
Filming a show when confined to a boat can get frustrating but the yachties on Parsifal III didn't complain as they drowned themselves in frivolities, alcohol, and drama. Gary King, Alli Dore and Sydney Zaruba had their share of fun but it got out of hand when one of them started to take a one-night stand seriously.
Gary may have made it clear that he didn't want anything more than just a one-time romp in the sack but Sydney grew feelings. And with time, it got tougher on her as she saw Gary leaning towards Alli. Them spending alone time stung her a little and it was evident that it was not something she felt okay with. In this week's episode of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht', Sydney took an extreme step and exposed Gary while the group was sharing a few drinks and laugh, taking time off work. And then there was chaos.

Sydney said by having sex with Gary, she did the very thing her mother asked her not to do: 'Don't have sex on the boat on the first night.' The information left most shocked, especially Daisy Kelliher who was under the impression that they "just kissed." But there was more to come from Sydney. Further, she revealed that Gary had specifically asked the deck team to not help the interior team out, which left Daisy in surprise.
While most, including us, are curious, as to why Gary would give out such a mandate to his team, the bigger question here is: Why did Sydney expose Gary? Was it revenge or was she on some sort of truth serum. At this point, our guess is as good as yours.
As the group grappled and processed the bomb Sydney threw at them, Gary and Alli were blissfully unaware of what had happened. They were lost in their own little world, kissing and nuzzling. Will they have an answer to what Sydney just revealed? Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, fans have commented on the stunt Sydney pulled and they are not very positive.
"Oh Sydney, stop. Your desperation is showing," one commented on the show's official Instagram page, while another shared: "Sydney is still trying to “mark her territory” while getting Gary in hot water. (Didn’t look like he said not to offer help ever) It’s sad how desperate she is." "I guess if she can’t have him....sabotage the shit out of him ?? Pathetic on Sydney’s part," a third pointed out. "God Sydney is so thirsty it’s embarrassing," another expressed.
