'Below Deck': Paget asks Georgia if she's alright after he kisses and flirts with Ciara in front of her
The Georgia Grobler-Paget Berry-Ciara Duggan dynamics have gotten intense with time. What started as casual chit chats grew into long-drawn conversations about life and other things, which probably made Georgia think that she has a space in Paget's life. However, that seems to be slipping away with time. In the finale episode, Paget and Ciara get affectionate with each other while Georgia watched on. Not out of any voyeuristic pleasure but she was right there as they kissed. Immediately after, Paget asked Georgia: "You alright there?"
Throughout the season, Paget and Georgia have sent each other mixed signals. They enjoy each other's company and have often expressed that in words. They are alike and have similar tastes — both enjoy singing and a good sunbath. Once, during a green-room interview, Paget shared how Chris Miller isn't the right fit for Georgio and that she would be better off with someone with a different set of tastes and likings. As he described the guy Georgia should go out with instead, it seemed as though he was hinting at himself.
But does one really know if Georgia has feelings for Paget or is it just her sunny disposition that has caused all the confusion? She may not have gone on dates with Paget but she makes it very easy to assume that she enjoys his company. The amount of smiles she lets out while performing songs with Paget is incomparable to the dull date she went on with Chris. They could hardly get a conversation going but with Paget, it all seems very natural and organic.
Maybe they are meant to be good friends? But would a good friend leave his girlfriend for shots of alcohol with a team member? The crew was catching a day-long break, hanging out at a beach bar, when Paget decided to walk up to Georgia to do a few rounds of drinks with her. In other news, the season came to a crackling end with the drug investigation that went kaput after Captain Glenn Shephard found nothing in the guests' belongings. This left him disappointed but he was glad that a message was sent out.
