'Below Deck': Billy is offended by drug probe but Glenn is unapologetic, will this ruin the last charter?

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' is finally dropping the anchors on Season 1. It is coming to a fitting end with a good dose of drama, thanks to the guests and the Parsifal III crew. Previously, Jenna MacGillivray, Chris Miller and Captain Glenn Shephard were left worried thinking if the guests were in possession of drugs. They wanted to get to the bottom of it and they did — it didn't turn out to be as fruitful as expected.

Even though Glenn double-checked with Jenna and Chris to ensure that wild accusations weren't being made, the team ended up putting the guests in a spot. Billy, the one who was suspected of carrying drugs, was cooperative and readily agreed to Glenn wanting to search his belongings. However, he did not appreciate the blame that was thrown at him.

In a chat with Glenn, Billy shared how the investigation has done nothing but ruined his luxury yacht vacation. He was riled up and very offended by what went down. However, Glenn was only apologetic for how things turned but not for wanting to go through his luggage because the boats have a strict no-drugs policy and if the crew was found violating it, the ship could be confiscated and Glenn could lose his license as well as go to prison.

Both parties were right in their own way. Glenn is trying to do a job, not get himself and his team fired from the yachting industry. As for Billy, he was only drunk and having a good time, which was interrupted by incorrect accusations by Glenn and his team, which would put anyone off.

However, the two found a way to resolve their issues and had a good time by the time the regatta began. Billy was open to instructions that Glenn was handing out and seemed focussed on winning the race. The drug investigation may have been uncomfortable but it was needed because that way Glenn was able to send out the message loud and clear. Next season, the guests will hopefully practice caution before they can indulge in activities at their own will. However, all's well that ends well.
