'Below Deck' Reunion: Jenna, Georgia coming back for Season 2? Fans shocked to see duo gang up against Madison
'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' served drama through and through, and the reunion episode was no different.
During the entire season, except for Byron Hissey, all crew members contributed heavily to the TRP ratings. Because it was the first time everyone was meeting one another, it took time for the team to get the ball rolling. Jenna MacGillivray, chief stewardess, was responsible for managing Madison Stalker and Georgia Grobler, who were fairly new to the yachting industry. Right from the start, it was established that they'd be needing heavy mentoring to get everything in order.
Madison was in charge of cleaning and miscellaneous work while Georgia took care of the laundry. There were initial glitches and errors in their work but with Jenna's constant feedback the two improved. In this time, Madison and Georgia grew close and went on to become the best of friends and left the season with promises of being sisters and staying in touch. But fans are now confused, rather shocked that Georgia would support Jenna and turn her back on Madison.
The two have been there for each other in the darkest times. Georgia was the only person who knew about Madison's family tragedy (her sister was killed). She trusted her with such an important and sensitive piece of information, which goes on to show how much Madison values Georgia. Oddly enough, Madison never got the same treatment.
Madison was overworked and sleep-deprived and yet her dedication and efforts were not recognized. In the reunion episode, Georgia said once you sign up for a show like this, you need to give up on your human rights. Will they continue being friends after what went down in tonight's show? Too soon to tell.
"Ugh, Jenna and those fake tears! Jenna was just given the opportunity to really own up to her awful behavior and redeem herself but failed miserably. I also wonder how much she paid Georgia to defend her? #belowdecksailing," a fan commented, to which a user replied: "Probably, like the OGs of the HWs she said she’d bring her back for season two."
"Whoa, Georgia! Way to have Madison’s back. Your true colors showed tonight during the reunion. Jenna was a monster all season and treated Madison unfairly yet you say that’s what you get for signing up for this job/show? #disappointing #belowdecksailing," a viewer expressed.
"What’s up with Georgia taking Jenna’s side all the sudden man #BelowDeckSailing," another wondered, while a user responded: "My question exactly!? I wonder if they're in contract to work with each other again. So Georgia's going to suck up to Jenna."
