'Below Deck': Jenna tells Georgia to lie about not sleeping with Johan but Adam still thinks it's 'gross'
Jenna MacGillivray and Adam Glick's relationship is hanging by the thread. The sexual tension and jealousy have sort of taken over their rapport, which seemed healthy at first.
In tonight's episode of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht', Adam expresses his displeasure about Jenna dating Georgia Grobler's ex, Johan. As they giggle and joke about having been with the same person, Adam gets increasingly squeamish and even tells Georgia off.
Not knowing how to assess the situation, Georgia asks Jenna what should her next steps be. As a way of damage control, Jenna asks Georgia if she can lie to Adam about Johan and how she was just joking about how Jenna and Johan slept together.
It seemed like a good idea at first but it put Adam off even more. As Georgia tried to clear her stance by assuring Adam that Jenna never slept with Johan, he said he would rather talk about anything but that topic.
"It doesn't matter. I just don't like hearing about you two dating the same person. It's gross," Adam said and added, "I can think about ten thousand other things I'd love to hear about other than that."
Clearly, Adam is upset and a bit jealous (as he himself admitted to being in his green-room interview). And why wouldn't he be? The chef seems a little more serious about Jenna than he was before.
At the beginning of the season, Adam kept his distance from Jenna even when she tried to tell her that she wanted to sleep with her.
At one point, Adam not wanting to take the leap in their relationship became a major issue and the primary reason for their first big fight, during which Jenna sat by the docks and cried while Adam left her alone.
However, the couple was able to recover from that toxic episode. The next morning, they were easy and ready to take on work like professionals, almost forgetting they had an explosive fight.
A few days later, they finally had sex while the crew partied at the beach and ever since, their equation has been rather breezy. Let's hope it continues to stay that way.
