'Below Deck': Alex tells Bugsy 'I'll lay down so that you can lay on top of me', but will he too go Pete's way?
Pete Hunziker and Christine 'Bugsy' Drake's drunken conversation from a few weeks ago resulted in repercussions that no one saw coming. Pete was asked to step down as lead deckhand and also asked to tone down his behavior and keep his attitude in check. He weirded out Bugsy as he described his sexual adventures most vividly, so much so that she felt threatened and had to take it up with bosun Malia White and Captain Sandy Yawn. In this week's episode of 'Below Deck Mediterranean,' a similar event took place but Bugsy made light of the matter by just saying: "Ewww."
Charter guests can be demanding and the current group was no different. They wanted to experience all that there was to The Wellington. Apart from serving them exotic meals, the crew also got together to perform a strip dance. Before they got cheered on and had money thrown at them for putting up a great show, Alex and Bugsy had a moment.
Because the boys had to strip shirtless, they thought of carving ab lines on their torso to make it appear as though they were ripped. Bugsy walked up to Alex to ask if he was ready to go, to which he responded: "I'll lay down so that you can lay on top of me. Let's do it."
But, there's a difference here. Bugsy and Alex have developed a friendship over time and she seems to like him but to what extent is not known. But there's no pre-existing discomfort between the two and maybe that could be a reason why she let that comment slide.
So, what did Pete say to Bugsy that made her feel threatened?
They were having a conversation about Lara Flumiani, a former stewardess, with whom Pete has been in touch with via texts. When Bugsy asked him about Lara and what their status was, he said: "I’m gonna undress her with my f**king teeth. I’m gonna do things to her she’s never had done to her before. And she’s gonna fall in love."
Thankfully, Bugsy was too hungover to process such crude information all at once. Else, it would have been tough.
