'Below Deck': Is Hannah following in Jenna's footsteps? She already seems to have issues with Lara and Jessica

For Hannah to finish this season as a loved and admired chief stew, she'd have to confront less

'Below Deck Mediterranean' has set sail in the rough seas, albeit figuratively. The Wellington will be charting the Spanish waters this season but it's not exactly going to be a nautical bliss for those running the ship -- captain and the crew alike. But again, that's the point of it. What's reality without some good ol' tea?

Hannah Ferrier has returned to resume her role as the chief stewardess. It should be a fairly easy task for someone who has done it for years now? Well, not if you are a mentor to people who have their focus elsewhere. Lara Flumiani and Jessica More are reporting to Hannah. On the surface, they seem as though they are in need of guidance and with a little bit of help, they'll able to function smoothly. But the problem runs deeper than that.

Lara has a decade of experience behind her and even has led a team as chief stewardess of a small yacht, which explains why she has trouble taking instructions and orders from Hannah. But Hannah is just trying to do her job, only if she would choose her words appropriately because Lara can be quite the hothead.

For Jessica, it seems as though the time onboard is more like a vacation for her. She has never had a stable job, which could be a reason for her to take her role as a third stewardess lightly. We see her hanging out with Robert Westergaard and that could be an issue in the coming weeks because workplace romances come with a multitude of distractions, which end up impacting the job at hand.

For Hannah to finish this season as a loved and admired chief stew, she'd have to confront less, make peace with the fact that her team members are going to slack off, and that they'll need constant reminders to get their jobs done. But will she be able to do that?

Right in the first episode, we see how the initial friction between Hannah and Lara reached a different level. And by the end of it, they were arguing with the rest of the crew members watching them. Also, Hannah seemed put off that Jessica was having trouble fixing drinks for the charter guests. In all honesty, Hannah seems to be following in Jenna MacGillivray's footsteps. She didn't end 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' on a high with her stewardess ready to worship.
