'Below Deck': Bugsy labeled creepy for trying to regulate Alex's drinking, fans say she's 'playing him'

Fans are slamming Bugsy for trying to control Alex and are certain that she is getting close to him only out of pity and not because she likes him

Alex Radcliffe and Christine 'Bugsy' Drake, who seem to have been taking it slow all this while, are possibly out of the friend zone and they have Ibiza to thank for it. In this week's episode of 'Below Deck Mediterranean,' the two get cozy at a club but not before Bugsy orders Alex around about what he should be doing. The crew members were enjoying dinner and drinks when Bugsy tells Alex he will drink when she asks him to. Although it was said in jest, fans thought her comment crossed a line and that she was only with Alex out of pity and was leading him on.

Alex and Bugsy give off a friendly vibe. They joke around and have fun but they've never had a serious conversation about taking their relationship to the next level. The last time they were physically close was when Alex was a bit drunk and they were in a jacuzzi together. Bugsy had just joined the crew as the second stewardess. Ever since Alex has indirectly shared his feelings about Bugsy and that he may be attracted to her but that is the extent to which he has gone in expressing his emotion.

Meanwhile, viewers have taken to social media to express their concerns about Bugsy's behavior in this week's episode.

"Bugsy please just shut Alex down. Your crossing over to Love Island territory, stringing him along to feel good. Alex please take a hint. You're embarrassing yourself. Has a girl ever liked you? Cause that's not how they act... #BelowDeckMed," a fan commented, to which another responded: "right it’s embarrassing to watch esp that club scene... it’s seems like it’s just a pity thing now #BelowDeckMed."

"I really don’t like the way Bugsy treats Alex. It just gives me the creeps. She’s playing with him and I don’t like it. #BelowDeck #BelowDeckMed #BelowDeckMediterranean," a viewer shared, another pointed out: "If a one of the male members of the boat would have said to a female member, "'you’ll drink when I tell you to drink' — the whole crew would have lost it. Someone needs to have Alex’s back when it comes to Bugsy. #BelowDeck #BelowDeckMed #BelowDeckMediterranean."
