'Below Deck': Did Francesca slut-shame Elizabeth for cabin hook-up with James? Fans feel she's 'jealous'

After that little chat with Francesca and Eddie, the new couple decided to make things formal and known. James asked Elizabeth out for a date, and she said yes

Just when everyone thought 'Below Deck' was losing its sheen, the showrunners drop a few-seconds-long clip of James Hough and Elizabeth Frankini hooking up in his cabin, which is also shared by Isabelle "Izzy" Wouters. Their sexual encounter was met with friction, especially from Izzy and Francesca Rubi, who first thought of taking it to Captain Lee Rosbach.

However, Eddie Lucas suggested they talk to the kids first, which they did. Clear instructions were given that there's no problem with them getting together provided that their meetings don't interrupt work and teammates' sleep cycles. 

Francesca and Elizabeth don't get along and it was sort of expected to see the chief stewardess not being appreciative of the workplace romance. Thankfully, Eddie has been supportive and doesn't want to cancel the couple right away. But James and Elizabeth's hook-up impacted Izzy the most, who couldn't stop talking about how uncomfortable she was left with the "minky smell" in the cabin and how that was completely "feral".

She told on the couple to everyone she could but, in her defense, she was bitter from the cold she had come down with. However, after that little chat with Francesca and Eddie, the new couple decided to make things formal and known. James asked Elizabeth out for a date, and she said yes. Meanwhile, fans have weighed in with their two cents about the whole issue and some seem to think that Elizabeth is being slut-shamed by her own teammates for sleeping with James. 

"If they dont want Elizabeth and James hanging out ... wouldn't changing their shifts help alleviate that? Just a genuine thought. #belowdeck," a fan commented, while another shared: "#belowdeck Francesca is so jealous and threatened by Elizabeth." 

"Yeah, sterilize that room!! Imagine James and Elizabeth hostel smell funk slapping sounds mixed with Izzy's illness #BelowDeck," a user expressed. "Francesca is so mean to Elizabeth ... I literally hate it. She’s a disgusting boss. #belowdeck," another pointed out. "So Francesca wants Elizabeth fired but not James. The slut-shaming is real #BelowDeck," a viewer tweeted.
