‘Below Deck’: Fans slam new bosun Ashton for groping and 'inappropriately touching' women on the show

Fans felt that Ashton's behavior towards women on the show was inappropriate and called him out for it

The new bosun of season 7’s ‘Below Deck’, Ashton Pienaar, has already landed in hot soup with his misbehavior.

In the recently aired episode, we see him groping his employee Abbi Murphy’s rear and inappropriately touching fellow cast member Courtney Skippon.

Fans were equal parts disgusted and uncomfortable watching their favorite cast member indulging in such terrible behavior towards women. Both times, he justified his behavior by blaming it all on alcohol. But fans are not buying it.

One disgruntled fan wrote, “So @capthlr we were hoping Ashton would control his behavior towards women It seems that your new Bosun likes to grab/grope on women without their approval then blame it on the alcohol What say you our Stud of the Sea Can Lee show ash how to be #BelowDeck”.

Another fan pointed out, “Dude, Ashton is a straight-up fkng predator and could quite possibly be a rapist or sexual assaulted if, given the opportunity, he’s disgusting. In fact he has assaulted & groped women on this show multiple times without their consent #BelowDeck”.

Most fans felt that he needed to learn to keep his hands to himself and not touch women inappropriately without their consent. A fan shared, “Why does Ashton think it’s appropriate to grope women like he does? I would have slapped the shit out of him if he touched me like that. Men keep your hands you yourselves! #BelowDeck”.

“Ashton is being so disgusting with how he keeps touching Courtney and she clearly seems uncomfortable with it. #KeepYourHandsToYourself #BelowDeck”. “Ashton goes from hot af in charge being a bosun to drunk desperate and inappropriately touching women stop it, Ashton, you don’t have to do this. #BelowDeck”, tweeted a fan.

‘Below Deck’ Season 7 airs every Monday at 9 pm ET/PT only on Bravo.
