Spoilers for 'Barkskins' Season 1 Episode 7 'Bees in a Bottle'

Episode 7 of 'Barkskins' consisted largely of scheming — the Iroquois are eagerly waiting to attack Wobik in a bid to avenge the death of their sons and are not going to stop at anything. The bodies of the priests they had slain remain in the same manner that they left them. And while the priests failed to retrieve Rene Sel (Christian Cooke) and Father Gabriel (Dominic Di Rosa), the nuns led by Mother Sabrine (Leni Parker) set out to get the bodies back.

And fans have the same reaction as we did. "So the nuns think they will succeed where the priests failed?? #faith #Barkskins," tweeted a viewer.  Elsewhere, as Hamish Goames (Aneurin Barnard) and Yvon (Zahn McClarnon) get involved deeper and deeper into this Wobik scandal, no one can figure out why exactly. "Why are Hamish and Yvon getting involved in this mess?#Barkskins," tweeted a fan. On the way, Hamish also gets rid of the same person whose pursuit brought him to Wobik — Randall Cross (Andreas Apergis) — in a rather bloody affair. The killing left viewers speechless. "Hamish's silent-scream face," tweeted a fan. "Finally the scene with the soundless scream! @aneurinBarnard #barkskins," said another.

'Bees in a Bottle' sees the French finally figure out the plan that the English and the Iroquois set against them. And while the French think they have some time to prepare, they are mistaken because Wobik houses a treacherous man in Charles Duquet (James Bloor). His exchange with Rene, in particular, was despicable. "Charles was an absolute a**hole to Renee," tweeted a fan.

Even towards the end of the season, fans continue to recommend this show to anyone passing their way. "#Barkskins on @NatGeo I recommend it too. Great performances by (over the top) Marcia Gay Harden (way over the top but oh so fun) David Thewlis, and (as always wonderfully understated) @ZahnMcClarnon," tweeted one. "Highly recommend Barkskins if you're into historical fiction," added another.

Following the finale episode, all episodes of 'Barkskins' will be available to stream on Hulu.
