Bang Bang Con: All you need to know about online BTS concert where all fans have 'got front row tickets'
K-pop fans are in for a treat. BTS, the seven-member South Korean boy band, on Thursday, announced that they would be streaming footage of their concerts over the years in a special event for fans across the world who are stuck at home in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
Per the K-pop news site Soompi, the streaming event called BANG BANG CON will provide fans with an “at-home BTS concert experience". The concerts that will be streamed are as follows:
The 2015 BTS LIVE [Most Beautiful Moment In Life On Stage]
The 2016 BTS LIVE [Most Beautiful Moment In Life On Stage: Epilogue]
The BTS 2014 LIVE TRILOGY: EPISODE II The Red Bullet (2014 Memories)
The BTS 3rd MUSTER [ARMY.ZIP+]
The 2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR IN SEOUL
The 2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL (2017 Memories)
The BTS 4th MUSTER [HAPPY EVER AFTER]
And the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘LOVE YOURSELF’ SEOUL.
BANG BANG CON will be held from April 18 to 19, starting at noon KST (8 pm PST) and will be streamed on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel.
BTS fans were overjoyed with the news. A Twitter account called BTS Worldwide tweeted, “ARMY First Time Attending BTS Online Concert Kit Guide: 1. Set Alarm at 12pm KST. 2. ARMY Bombs for ocean waves. 3. Water Bottles for 4D water-spraying experience at home. 4. Box of Tissues to wipe hot & salty water coming from your eyes.”
Another account had a piece of similar advice: “Don’t forget to listen to jin and throw water at yourself for that 4d experience.” Many fans were just too excited about seeing ‘Tony Montana’ live in concert. Like one fan said, “We might be getting to experience Tony Montana feat Jimin on #BANGBANGCON, but I’m still waiting for the studio version!! I will never shut up about this.”
Other BTS fans, meanwhile, were making plans to create a world record with BANG BANG CON: “For the youtube #BANGBANGCON most viewers record, we need to Log In, not only in the U.S., please YT algorithm is super strict rn, try to be logged in! And let's see what mark we can achieve. For regular watching, you should be also logged in, I bet the views will up this way.”
Most fans, however, were just plain happy because "OMG I can't believe it. I actually got front row tickets to the concert!!”
