Netflix is all set to release Part 3 of their hit fighting anime 'Baki', signaling the start of the highly-anticipated Great Raitai Tournament Saga. In the upcoming story arc, Baki Hanma (Nobunaga Shimazaki) will face some of the strongest fighters on the planet but his eyes are set on the only one that counts: his father, Yujiro Hanma (Akio Ôtsuka). Over the course of the Netflix series and its predecessors, we've seen just how great a fighter Baki is. He is more than human, a demon in the ring who can decimate practically any opponent he comes across. But if Baki is a demon, Yujiro is God.

Yujiro Hanma is without a doubt the strongest fighter in the franchise. He is a living legend, the standard against which all other fighters are compared. To survive a fight with Yujiro is a huge mark of honor but Baki plans to do more than just survive. Baki's entire life, he has been preparing to fight his father and win. It is the entire purpose of his life, the most important reason why he has managed to overcome so many obstacles. Now he finally has the chance to prove once and for all, who is greater, father or son.

Irrespective of who wins in that battle to end all battles, this season will give fans a chance to see Yujiro Hanma unleashed. Considering the high stakes of the tournament and the caliber of the opponents he will be facing, Yujiro isn't going to hold anything back and Part 3 will most likely be all about the infinite extent of Yujiro's awesome power.

Unfortunately, Baki isn't as strong as he would hope to be for this fight, not due to any mistake of his own but because of the poison that is currently coursing through his veins. However, the young fighter's determination and skill may still win over the physical difficulties and allow him to be a match for his father, even if he doesn't manage to actually dethrone him.

Ultimately, 'Baki' is the story of a son attempting to surpass his father and earn the love of a man he has looked up to all his life, no matter how twisted that man might be. One way or another, that story will be resolved by the time the dust settles on the Great Raitai Tournament. 'Baki' Part 3 will drop on Netflix on June 4.
