BAFTAs 2020 saw many A-list celebrities arriving at the red carpet and even though the hall was filled some of the most talented people in the world, the award show failed to leave a mark on people. Viewers took to social media to express their disappointment with the award show as many called it the 'worst' while others called it 'boring'.

"The worst part about the #BAFTAs is all the celebrities are numb at being there. No one cares, and the whole show drags on," one user wrote. "The BAFTAs are routinely the worst award show known to man between the diversity (lack thereof) and the royal affiliation they can get f**ked."

Meanwhile, some of them had a problem with how the speeches for the award show were. "The BAFTAs are the worst, not broadcasted live and speeches are short. I’m embarrassed," wrote one. Another added, "Worst #baftas opening ever. What the hell was that? Was that meant to be funny?"

Others thought that the award show was boring and failed to live up to its expectations. "#BAFTAs my God so boring!! Actors getting awards. Who would have thought that could be entertaining. What a bore," one wrote. Another echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "Turning off and going to sleep, Can’t be bothered to even see this through it’s boring and the production is a mess."

Another thing that people did not like at the award show was the number of times the camera panned towards the actress Rebel Wilson during the award show. "Has someone paid @BAFTA to keep the camera on Rebel Wilson? Come on move the shots around a bit!" one asked while another echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "I swear if they zoom in on Rebel Wilson one more time I am going to scream this has been, what, the 10th time and the awards have been on 30 minutes."
