Arnold Schwarzenegger looks badass as he hits the road driving the world's first electric Hummer in Santa Monica
Schwarzenegger's dream first came true in 1992 after he convinced the company to produce a modified, street-legal version of the Humvee, which was previously used only by the military.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was spotted driving the first electric Hummer in Santa Monica on Wednesday after being the first civilian to buy a Humvee in 1992.
The red Hummer, which was modeled after the much larger H1, was being driven around by the 71-year-old actor while smoking a cigar. Last September, Schwarzenegger was present at Kreisel Electric's new facility in Austria, where he was invited to unveil the first electric Hummer to the world.
