Bad Bunny ‘Booker T’: Release date, where to stream and all the hype around new single starring WWE legend
Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and songwriter Bad Bunny dropped two albums in 2020 and was one of the top global artistes of the previous year. Continuing with his stellar work, looks like he is all set to conquer 2021 as well. The Latin Grammy award-winning artist has released a brand new single called ‘Booker-T’ and it has already created a buzz amongst his massive fan following.
What's interesting is the 26-years-old musician has tapped WWE legend, Booker T, for his latest project. The professional wrestler and commentator also tweeted his photo from the song along with Bad Bunny on his official Twitter account. Booker T is also the owner and founder of the independent promotion Reality of Wrestling (ROW) in Texas City, Texas. Booker is best known for his time in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/E), and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), winning 35 championships in total.
This is not the first time when Bad Bunny has roped-in a famous wrestler from WWE. He surely has a thing for wrestling legends as the musician earlier got Ric Flair for his music video called ‘Chambea.’ Then, he also managed to get WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin for a cameo in the music video ‘Quien Tu Eres?’
Speaking of his projects, this is the very first music video of Bad Bunny of 2021. His two albums of 2020 called ‘YHLQMDLG’ and ‘El Último Tour Del Mundo’ were released in February 2020 and November 2020 respectively and got thumbs up from both the listeners and the critics. A single from ‘El Último Tour Del Mundo’ called ‘Dakiti’ was released on October 30, 2020, which proved to be a stand-alone hit. The track debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and number one on the Hot Latin Songs chart, becoming the first song in history to do so.
Release date
Bad Bunny’s ‘Booker T’ music video hit the Internet on January 2, 2021.
Concept
In the official music video of ‘Booker T,’ we see, a huge container truck on an empty highway but soon the shot cuts to Bad Bunny inside the same truck where we see him rapping to ‘Booker T.’ The wrestling legend maintains a very grim and an angry face throughout the video, something he got popular for during his wrestling matches. We see Bad Bunny fooling around with Booker T until he also joins the former to have some fun. The entire video has been shot inside the truck container. Bad Bunny looks dapper in an all-black stylish outfit while Booker T rocks an outfit similar to that of his wrestling days.
How’s the buzz?
As soon as the music video was released on the Internet, a lot of fans of Bad Bunny and Booker T rushed to Twitter to share their excitement.
