Baby turns sole survivor of plane crash that killed parents as heroic mom shields him in her arms
A baby miraculously survived a horrific plane crash that killed both his parents in Ubaté, Colombia, on Tuesday, October 13. The child became the only survivor of the crash as his mother shielded him. The mishap claimed the lives of Mayerly Diaz Rojas, her husband Fabio Grandas, and their son's nanny, Nuris Maza, The Sun reports. Grandas was a well-known doctor in Bogota and had been piloting the plane.
As per local media, the child, Martin, is said to be in a stable condition and is being treated at the Fundacion Santa Fe de Bogota University Hospital.
