'Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens' Episode 4 Preview: Nora is in yet another pickle as her bank declares her dead

Your weekly dose of funnies is here to swat the blues away. 'Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens' will air in a couple of hours and continue the tale of Nora Linn and her stumbles through adulthood. The fourth episode titled 'Paperwork' will see Nora trying to convince her bank that she isn't dead.
The official synopsis reads: "Nora attempts to cash a check to pick her car up from an impound lot, only to discover that her bank has closed her account."
In the preview clip of the episode, a sweaty and exhausted Nora makes her way to the bank. However, an unpleasant surprise is waiting for her. A woman informs her that since there has been no activity on her bank account for the past two years, she has been considered dead. Her account has been closed.
Nora desperately tries to prove to the woman with her ID that she is very much alive. However, her license has also expired and a hole is punched into it. A furious Nora fumes her way out of the bank. What will she do next?
'Awkwafina is Nora From Queens' is loosely based on the life of the singer-actress in her pre-stardom days. In the show, Awkwafina (Nora Lum) lives with her wacky grandmother (Lori Tan Chinn) and calm father (BD Wong).
In the previous episode, Awkwafina tries to take up a job at a real estate agency. She becomes so enthusiastic about her new life that it begins to consume her. Due to her preoccupation with her job, her online gaming friends kick her out of their team as well. At the end of the episode, after a series of mishaps, she is fired from her job but not without a cheque.
'Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens' airs on Comedy Central at 10.30 pm on Wednesdays.
