'Avenue 5' Episode 5 has fans 'audibly cackling' with its take on 'shit hitting the fan' or in this case the space. The episode sees human feces that are stored in wetsuits to protect the humans inside the spacecraft from being affected by harmful radiations get thrown in space.

There is a rupture in the wetsuit caused by it not being vented out. The feces are being thrown into space and people on board, especially the ones on the bridge and the dining deck have a great view of it.

The one person who can stop this is Captain Ryan Clark and no, he has no say in it. He is forced into a spacesuit and thrown out to fix the mess and he is definitely not ready for it. So what will Captain Ryan do now? That's up for debate, but fans seem to enjoy the shit storm and Ryan becoming the sacrificial lamb.

One fan tweeted out Ryan's reaction when he is asked if he ready to fix the problem. "Ryan, are you ready to do this? --  With every fiber of my being.....No." and the laughing emoticon shows how the fan found this scene to be bloody hilarious.

Josh Gad's character has been found annoying by fans as one of them tweeted, "Josh Gad's character on #Avenue5 is so fucking annoying. you really wanna slap him stupid lolol."

One fan tweeted, "The ship seems to be shitting itself fkdjskdhsjsh #Avenue5 (sic)," while another wrote, "Oh my fuck, look at all that shit!" The show aired when the 92nd Oscars was airing so a fan also said, "Between a 25-mile bike ride, jumping for joy for #Parasite wins, and cackling during #Avenue5, i’m beat."

It also seems that there are people who are enjoying the humor of the show. One of them tweeted, "Tonight’s episode - FANTASTIC!!! Every Sunday, now, I have 22 minutes of nonstop hysterical laughter. I look forward to that so much. Now we have 4 coffins and a geyser of shit in orbit..#Avenue5."

Another fan wrote, "Is it just me, or is the theme getting darker as things go downhill? Enjoying the show thoroughly #Avenue5."

However, there are still people who do not think much of the Hugh Laurie starrer. One of the viewers wrote, "So, do I wear myself down with watching the newest episode of #Picard which isn't Star Trek's hope for the future, #DoctorWho 's godawful writing that isn't entertainment but just a 'HUMANS BAD!' seminar, or #Avenue5 's lackluster attempt at being a new Red Dwarf?"

'Avenue 5' will air on HBO on Sundays at 10 pm ET.
