'Avenue 5' Episode 2 left us frustrated with how the show has progressed, especially actor Josh Gad's character, Herman Judd, has turned out to be the most frustrating to watch. From the promo of the upcoming episode, it looks like Judd will continue to be a frustrating character on the show. The promo sees Judd complaining about how he needs more brains looking into their problem. Apparently the last time he left things to be resolved by Iris, he was left with three dead people floating around his spaceship.

He also leaves a message to Rav Mulcair, the head of Mission Control, with two words -- "Worm hole". After telling NASA to go "f**k itself",  Avenue 5 is definitely in trouble. So it seems as if many people on board have left messages to Rav Mulcair. Each of them seems more desperate than the other as everyone is dealing with the shock of having to stay more than the days that they originally planned to spend on the spacecation.

Then we finally see Captain Ryan Clark possibly find a solution to calm the nerves of people who are on board the spacecraft. He meets with passenger Karen Kelly in private and tells her that she should become the messenger between the crew and the passengers to ensure that everyone stays calm while the crew of Avenue 5 try and figure out a way back to Earth, which pans out to be lesser than the 3 years that was calculated by scientists at Mission Control.

As of now, it is unclear if Clark will continue to seek the advice of techie on board. He does claim that they can return to Earth in six months according to his equation. However, the engineer on board, Billy, doesn't trust this techie at all because she knows that he exaggerates his numbers quite often. She is wary of this guy, but now that the passengers on board think that they can get back to Earth in six months, Clark and Billy have to come up with a workable option. How will they?

'Avenue 5' will air on HBO on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
