Pablo's Escoburgers: Australian bar slammed for serving burger with line of "white powder" and fake $100 bill
The owners of Pablo's Escoburgers defended its controversial name and insisted they are not trying to glorify drug use
A pop-up restaurant in Australia has found itself in the center of a social media storm for "glorifying drug use" after naming themselves and their signature dish after Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.
According to the Daily Mail, Pablo's Escoburgers in Prahran, Melbourne, offers its customers "The Patron Burger," which is for all intents and purposes, a normal burger with a quite cheeky twist: It's topped with a line of white powder and an American $100 bill.
But rest assured, it's not actually cocaine or a real bill. The white powder is, in fact, garlic powder while the rolled up note is fake as well.
