WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump's lawyer Alina Habba recently lost her cool and lashed out at New York Attorney General Letitia James, who had recently insisted that the former President's children testify in the case.

Judge Arthur Engoron has ruled that Ivanka Trump had to take the stand regardless of her attempt to avoid doing so, while her brothers, Eric Trump, 39, and Donald Trump Jr, 45, testified this week.

The Trump kids have publicly voiced their annoyance at being forced to testify. In an attempt to sidestep the situation, Ivanka even claimed "undue hardship" while Eric and Donald Jr expressed frustration outside of court, according to Radar Online.

Alina Habba begs for compassion for Donald Trump's adult 'children'

Habba joined Trump's kids in their indignation on November 3, when she was unable to control her emotions towards Attorney General James and begged for compassion for "these CHILDREN."

The Trump attorney, enraged by what she perceives as an enormous waste of public funds, attacked the trial, which has been going on for more than a month.

Habba claimed that former President Trump's disclosure of his financial situation was underappreciated, and she charged James with being conceited for drawing attention from the media.

Habba continued to be critical of James's absence at the trial, implying that she only attends events that are highly publicized and involve Trump Sr.

Habba also drew attention to the fact that an expert witness who had just made $450,000 was being paid with significant quantities of government funds.

She added, "Mr James wasn’t here for that day because it wasn’t good for her. He’s been paid by New York taxpayer dollars, $450,000 in the past few months to come here and testify. That’s your money! That’s not my money."

She declared it a felony, emphasizing the financial strain the city is facing as a result of this trial.

Trump's lawyer further said of James, "She piggybacked on Trump to get into office. She didn’t do it well enough to be a governor. She was a failed gubernatorial candidate."

"And now she’s working on her politics again! She shows up, sits in the back when she should be doing real work because the city of New York has fallen apart!"

Habba continued by referring to the three adult kids of Trump Sr. as "children," highlighting her belief that they should not be required to take the stand.

Habba said, "It is a crime. And now these children are being brought in! Away from their families, for doing nothing wrong! It’s a great company. It has always been a great company. It’s worth a lot more than the statements say, and she just doesn’t like it."

"And now her politics don’t allow her to back off or back down! And it’s unfortunate, but this case should be done. We are wasting our time. Thank you," she concluded her rant.

Netizens troll Alina Habba for referring to Trump's adult kids as 'children'

Following Habba's latest reference to Trump's adult kids as "children," Internet users took to X (formerly Twitter) to troll and make fun of the lawyer.

One X user mocked and said, "Alina Habba: “These children are being brought in away, from their families” Laura Trump: “ Get that little bitch Eric back home.. Who else is going to hand me my brushes?”

A second one wrote, "I used to think Rudy Giuliani was the most laughable, least credible trump lawyer until I heard Alina Habba talk about grown men Don Jr. and Eric like “These ‘children’ were brought in away from their families for doing nothing wrong.” Unbelievable."

"Alina Habba: “President Trump, what if they put the children in prison?” “Excuse me, excuse me. Putting children in cages is my signature move,” snarked a third one.
