'The Hills: New Beginnings' star Jason Wahler's wife Ashley breaks down over losing baby after rough pregnancy

It hasn't been an easy journey for the couple, but looks like they are over the moon and can't wait to welcome baby number two

The cast of 'The Hills: New Beginnings' have all come a long way since their initial appearances on the show. Baby fever definitely seems to have taken over the season, with most couples looking to have more children and grow their families. Among the couples, Jason and Ashley Wahler have gone through their fair share of trials and tribulations over the course of their relationship. But turns out, there might be some happy news on the horizon for the couple.

Although the couple has a daughter together, Delilah, they have been hoping to grow their family. However, that journey has been tough on all of them. Ashley recently opened up about how she had a complicated pregnancy. She broke down as she spoke about how she found out that she had a molar pregnancy, which if left untreated could have proven to be fatal.

It was heartbreaking to watch as she spoke about how at nine weeks when she went for a check-up, she found that she had a molar pregnancy, which often results in extreme complications such as a rare form of cancer. With her health in mind, the pregnancy had to be terminated. Since then, it's been an uphill battle for the couple. Their nervousness was understandable as they called their doctor to check in on the results, seeing that the couple had been trying for baby number two. It was time for some good news as Ashley was both pregnant and healthy. 

Fans took to Twitter to voice their support for the couple, seeing that they dealt with their fair share of heartache before celebrating this new and exciting news. "I just love these two so much. Their so great and down to earth. And never once complain about anything. So happy for the both of them.#TheHills," tweeted a fan. "Aweee!Jason's wife Ashley is pregnant again #TheHills," added another.

"Great scene @JasonWahler #thehills you're a great dad," added another. "Ashley is a brave woman #TheHills," tweeted another. One more said, "Tears of happiness for @ashley_wahler & @JasonWahler when they saw the heartbeat! Had a miscarriage in January & getting pregnant again makes me so nervous, but it is important to remember to have faith. There is a plan! #TheHillsNewBeginnings #TheHills." Another said, "@ashley_wahler I just cried happy tears 4 u. I had a molar back in 2014. We had 2 wait 1 yr 2 try again. my #s wouldn’t go down. 1 yr later I was pregnant!! He will b 6 in August!! Congratulations to you both!!" added another"

The couple announced the pregnancy in February and revealed that they were having a boy, as reported by E! News. They took to social media to announce the big news. The post is captioned "Surprise!! The newest addition to our family is coming June 2021!" and it features the couple sharing a tender moment along with ultrasound photos. In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, the couple couldn't stop gushing about the news.

"We are so unbelievably in love! We are so excited to start this new chapter of our lives and never thought we could love someone so much," they said. They also revealed to The Sun that their costars were thrilled and that Brandon Thomas Lee was "probably the most excited".
