The English Premier League officially returns on September 12 and to start off the proceedings, it will be Arsenal traveling to Craven Cottage to take on the promoted Fulfam FC. The latter finished fourth in the EFL Championship that saw them move up in the league. However, the Gunners are a more rejuvenated side under Arteta and will be looking to add some points on the board. Here's a quick primer ahead of the match.

Time

The match is slated to start at 7.30 pm ET on Saturday, September 12, 2020.

Venue

The teams will face-off at Craven Cottage, the home ground of Fulham FC.

Where to watch?

Fans can watch the match live on NBCSN.

How to live stream?

The Premier League matches can be live-streamed on NBC's new streaming service, Peacock and on NBCSports.com. Peacock will showcase 175 live matches throughout the season. In addition, it will also have full-game replays available on-demand for all slated 380 matches of the 2020-21 season. These replays will be available after 9 pm ET the day of the match, according to Cnet

Pre-match buzz

While the two sides might have played for different tiers, the games between the two sides has seen the gunners emerge on top 39 out of the 57 times. The last time the two teams played, Arsenal handed Fulham a 4-1 defeat. But before all of that, they will be keen on making it to the top four this season after finishing a dismal eighth in 2019. They will be an optimistic lot after their first full season under Spanish coach, Mikel Arteta. Fulham, however, are no pushovers. Aleksandar Mitrovic will be the man to watch out for as the side hopes to make a dent early on in the game.

As far as injury concerns go, Fulham are fully fit and raring to go but Arsenal have four players — Shkodran Mustafi, Gabriel Martinelli, Pablo Mari and Calum Chambers — on the injury list. But in Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pep, they have enough firepower to blast through Fulham.

Who will win?

Despite Fulham's promotion, Arsenal still comes in as favorites to win the curtain-raiser. Their attacking combo is potent and they should have no issues notching up an easy win over Fulham. We reckon this will be an Arsenal win.
