Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has reportedly thrown a middle finger to the supporters of President Donald Trump while driving his Ferrari on Arizona’s 1-10 highway. The alleged incident happened on Sunday, October 25, when followers of Trump, who took part in a caravan of hundreds of vehicles circling Valley highways as a parade of sorts, saw the 28-year-old flipping them off. Hopkins was reportedly driving the Ferrari convertible around 1:30 pm when he was spotted driving recklessly by the people. The NFL superstar was on his way to his team’s game against the Seattle Seahawks at State Farm Stadium, The Sun reported. One April Garcia was onboard the caravan and said the driver of the Ferrari created a dangerous situation. "It's scary when they are coming up fast and swerving into you," she added as reported by AZ Central.

Reports also stated that as elections are just a few days away, Trump supporters have been seen driving in caravans on Valley freeways. Mostly, they begin near Lake Pleasant and end with afterparties in Morristown. November 3 is going to be a big day for Americans as Trump is competing against Democratic nominee Joe Biden, who is 2.8 points ahead of him in the state, according to the Guardian's poll tracker.

But many people on Twitter slammed Hopkins, who joined the Cardinals from the Texans in March 2020, for his action on Sunday as one said: “@DeAndreHopkins My 8 yr old son was in one of the cars you were swerving in and out of as you were disrupting the PHX Trump Train drive and trying to cause an accident. You're a piece of trash. Make your political statements, but you out people at risk today. @espn @AZCardinals.”

“AZ get him out of the NFL],,some people think they're beyond the Law they can live by their own rules when they make millions. Never underestimate the power of God he CAN Humble & drop you to your knees js,” wrote another one. The third person stated, “Pretty sad, isn't it?  Rich football player, fancy car, could have caused an accident, and all of this in front of potential or current fans. Way to go DeAndre.”

But there were many who supported one of the top wide receivers in the NFL with one user saying: “DeAndre Hopkins' driving is absolutely not going to be the most traumatic part of this experience for your child.” The second user wrote, “The president encourages white supremacy and police brutality. You're supporting someone be who puts people's lives at risk everyday. But you probably don't want to talk about that.”

The third user commented: “You guys drive around the fucking freeways below the speed limit with your flashers on and then you wanna talk about putting people in danger? There’s a way to show support and that is certainly not one…” While the fourth one noted, “What kind of parent drives his 8yo around in whatever the hell a Trump train is. I bet you’d go Trump boating with him too.”
