All thanks to the references in 'Off The Table' and The Weeknd's 'The Hills', fans are sure that Ariana and The Weeknd have a secret love story

As promised, Ariana Grande has released her sixth studio album titled ‘Positions’ today i.e. October 30, 2020, and it comes packed with a total of 14 tracks along with features from artists like The Weeknd, Doja Cat and Ty Dolla $ign. The new album has opened to positive reviews, however, one of the songs from the album called 'Off The Table’ featuring pop icon The Weeknd is making a lot of noise on social media.

After listening to Ariana and The Weeknd’s track, fans are suggesting they had a secret relationship that no one knew about until now when Ariana, in one of the lines, mentions his 2015 hit single called ‘The Hills’ – one of the biggest chartbusters of The Weeknd. The lyrics of the song where both of them sing go like, “I can see right through it (You can see right through it), I can you love you harder than I did before/ Was in a dark place back then, I was toxic, then I was toxic to someone else/ I was haunted by the hills (Oh yeah, yeah), I couldn't give you my all, but I will, If you let me in your arms (Your arms), If you let me in your heart/ I don't think that love's completely off the table.”

The Internet went in for a shock and even suggested that The Weeknd’s ‘The Hills’ is all about Ariana Grande. Here’s how the Internet reacted. One user tweeted, “THANK YOU ABEL FOR CONFIRMING YOUR OLD SECRET RELATIONSHIP WITH ARIANA GRANDE WITH OFF THE TABLE AND HINTING WITH “THE HILLS”PART.” While highlighting the lyrics from ‘off the table’ and ‘The Hills’ with the help of screenshots, one tweeted, “The connection on the song when  @theweeknd mentioned the hills #POSITIONS @ArianaGrande” Another added, “Sometimes I think the hills are about Ariana grande. Don’t ask me to explain I just do.” One user posted, “... So is The Hills about Ariana Grande or are they just f**king with us lmao.”

Ariana Grande first collaborated with The Weeknd in 2014 on the song ‘Love Me Harder’ which gave The Weeknd his first Top Ten entry on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, as reported by the Hollywood Life.
