'Are you Leaving': Meet Chani, Lee Seung-hyub, Park Jung-yeon and the cast of the upcoming K-drama
'Are you Leaving' is an upcoming Korean drama that is a webcomic adaptation and centers on musicians from the past and the present. The musicians from the past -- dating back to the Joseon era find themselves getting in touch with a girl who aspires to be an idol, a singer in the competitive Kpop industry. Two boys fall in love with one girl and how their relationships and their outlook on life changes as they spend more time together is what makes the crux of the show that was announced by Sky Tv in October. The following are the cast members of the show, which does not have an official release date as of now.
Chani
Chani first became popular as an actor after his role in one of the best shows of all time that was broadcast on JTBC called 'Sky Castle'. He played the role of a young boy who moved to a residential community where kids were pressurized with unrealistic expectations academically and personally. His role brought him much appreciation and this was followed by cameos and guest roles in other shows. Chani is also expected to appear in the upcoming KBS2 drama 'Imitation' as well. Beyond all of this, he also happens to be a member of the Kpop idol group SF9.
Lee Seung-hyub
Lee Seung-hyub is a South Korean rapper, the leader and member of N. Flying and until July 2020, he was also one half of the duo of Jimin NJ Don, however, that duo was disbanded after Jimin left AOA and the music industry altogether. Some of the shows that the rapper has appeared in include 'Save Me', 'Luv Pub' and 'Big Picture House'. An interesting thing to note here is that Seung-hyub will not be serving the military requirement because of an injury that he had suffered in 2014.
Park Jung-yeon
Actor Park Jung-yeon is a rookie actress who impressed the audience with her role in the TV show 'King Maker: The Change of Destiny' and after that she will next be seen in 'Are you Leaving'. The actor is set to impress audiences again as a singer in her next show.
The 'Are you Leaving' comic was created by Park SunJae and RaHee, and for the TV is being adapted by Eo Seo-jin, and the show will be directed by Lim Jae-kyung.
