Are Dre and Linzy together? 'Too Hot To Handle' couple defies villa rules on explosive first date

Dre and Linzy locked lips on their fiery first date on Netflix's 'Too Hot To Handle'

PUNTA MITA, MEXICO: Dating is a real puzzle because people have various skills, interests, goals, and ways of approaching relationships. The show 'Too Hot to Handle' on Netflix is a great example of this complexity. It also shows how being truthful and genuine can significantly impact the way we connect with others.

Season 5 of the show features an excellent illustration of this, with Shedre "Dre" Woodard being the prime example. From the beginning, Dre's main goal was to have an unforgettable summer, which he expressed when he first appeared on the show 'Love Overboard.' However, everything took a turn when he met Linzy. Their connection was so strong that Dre couldn't resist breaking the rules of Lana's retreat.

Linzy and Dre go on an unexpected date on 'Too Hot to Handle'

From the start, Dre thought he was joining a new show called 'Love Overboard' and just wanted to have an amazing summer. But he was shocked to discover it was actually a celibacy retreat with a talking cone named Lana. However, when he found out about the $200,000 prize, he became determined to win it for the sake of his large family. As the days went on, Dre transformed into a detective of sorts, trying to keep everyone on their best behavior, but things didn't go as planned, and they lost a lot of the prize money. Feeling the need to have some fun too, he teamed up with Linzy Luu. She had initially chosen Louis for a date, but Dre managed to edge Louis out and spend time with her instead. He tried to win her over with charm and sincerity, even though she had mentioned he wasn't 'her type'. They had deep conversations about their past relationships and shared their insecurities, realizing they felt comfortable with each other. Despite Dre not being her usual preference, his direct and honest approach to flirting intrigued Linzy. By the end of the night, they both let their wild sides out.

Are Linzy and Dre still together?

As of now, we don't know for sure what happened between Linzy  and Dre, after their time in Lana's celibacy villa. But one thing is clear — they don't regret their intense kiss. It's likely they stayed together to continue their connection in the real world because they look like they understand and trust each other on the show. However, neither the Hawaii-raised Los Angeles-based model nor the Atlanta-residing actor/model/entrepreneur has confirmed or denied anything about their relationship status, so we can't say for certain if they are still a couple. They don't follow each other on social media, which might suggest they are not together, but it's also possible they are keeping their relationship a secret until the show ends. Despite the uncertainty, we hope that Linzy and Dre are on good terms as friends since they shared a genuine experience on the island villa.
