'Love Is Blind' 10 reunion sneak peek sees Connor fire back after Chris' hot mic confession about Bri
'Love is Blind' Season 10 has been explosive, and Netflix just dropped a sneak peek to give fans a glimpse into what to expect when the reunion special drops on March 11. Connor Spies and Brianna 'Breezy' McNees are one of the most talked-about couples this season. They got engaged before leaving the pods, but canceled their wedding two days before it was time to walk down the aisle. The duo also dealt with a lot of drama involving Chris as he and Connor both competed for Bri's love on the show. While the duo will shed light on their current relationship status during the reunion, they will also address the lingering tension with Chris, as the trio faces each other for the first time since leaving the show.
In Netflix's latest clip, the hosts play a video in which Chris is caught saying Bri is "so hot" on a hot mic. This happened during a group gathering after he called off his engagement to the physician, Jessica Barrett. Chris continues, 'I saw Bri, and I was like, 'Yeah, I'm into her.' I want to talk to her." After noticing that she's with Connor, he adds, laughing, "And Connor? I don’t care. What’s he gonna do? He’s gonna beat me up? Yeah right." When Nick asks Connor to react, he simply says, "I honestly have, like, no thoughts. Like, he doesn't even cross my mind ever. So it's cool."
At the start of Season 10, Bri connected with both Connor and Chris in the pods. She then left the pods engaged to Connor, while Chris got engaged to Jess. However, Chris broke things off with his fiancée, citing a lack of physical chemistry. He then decided to win over Bri, despite her strong connection with Connor. He made his move during a mixer with their pod squad, telling Bri that he regrets not proposing to her and trying to convince her to leave Connor, whom he deemed submissive. “I feel like you need someone who's gonna be more dominant in your life and to help guide you and show you places you’ve never been before," he said. Speaking of Connor, he added, "He's a very submissive guy. I'm not a submissive guy. I know I'm not like that. I would never be submissive in my life. I want to do that with you.” But Bri clearly told Chris that she was happy with Connor. Chris apologized for his behavior later while speaking to Tudum on February 25, saying that he was not in the right frame of mind and was "obviously intoxicated."
For a while, it did seem like Connor would have a happily ever after as he was set to exchange wedding vows with Bri. But the couple mutually decided to call off the wedding 48 hours ahead of their televised nuptials. Bri admitted that she got cold feet while speaking to Tudum, and said, "I wanted to trust the process, but I kept waiting for this shift in my heart that never came. I was like, ‘I like this man, but why am I forcing this?'" Connor respected her decision as he couldn't go through with the wedding unless Bri was 100% on board. Despite everything, he didn't lose hope and believed that their connection could lead them "to the altar someday" in the future. Fans are now eager to know the duo's relationship status when the 'Love Is Blind' reunion special drops at 9 p.m. ET on March 11 on Netflix.
