Are Jessica and Chris still together? ‘Love Is Blind’ drama erupts after he admits lack of attraction
With seven engagements, 'Love Is Blind' Season 10 is brimming with love and commitment. However, in an unexpected twist, one couple broke up in a way fans never saw coming. Chris Fusco and Jessica Barrett, whose strong connection had been stealing hearts, suddenly split, and the reason came completely out of left field in recently released episodes. Chris's shocking admission of feeling a lack of physical connection with Jessica left fans speechless. It all started when Jessica confronted him about staying the night with a friend and asking for space, even though she believed things were going well.
Chris explained, "I didn't know what you looked like and for me, just to be totally honest and without sounding like a f*****g kid, I don't know how to say it. In the normal world, I date people who do f*****g CrossFit and shit. Somebody who works out all the time and has a different type of…" Jessica remarked, "A different type of body?" Chris continued, "Just somebody who does f*****g, like, Pilates every day, or someone who's working out every day. I just don't know if it's there for me physically.” Chris then admitted that sex is very important to him and he's starting to feel unsure about their relationship. He admitted he sometimes wonders what would have happened if he had picked his other connection, Bri McNees, instead.
Jessica was visibly heartbroken with the confession and said hearing it was hard, especially since she's very busy as a doctor. Chris reassured her that his feelings are real and that he wants to try to make things work. He joked that they have fun together, but Jessica felt hurt and embarrassed. When Chris asked why she was upset, Jessica explained that the conversation was shocking for her, as she never expected her body to be an issue in their relationship. While Chris insisted he was simply sharing what he was used to with previous partners, Jessica kept crying and said she was honest from the start about not going to Pilates every day, and hearing this made her feel awful.
She said, "Like I'm not good enough in a way that I can't control. I feel very inadequate. Three days ago, if you had told me that I would question you, I would be like, 'You're f*****g insane; this man has treated me better than anyone ever has, and he's told me that he's in love with me, and he's told me that he wants a future with me.'" Feeling hurt and disappointed, she decided to break up with him and go home. She then shared that while love had been blind for her, Chris had changed completely, leaving her unable to see him the same way. Despite the heartbreak, she remained determined to take care of herself and only be with someone who would truly enhance her life.
Chris admitted that while he initially believed in 'Love Is Blind,' he struggled with his lack of physical connection with Jessica and felt curious about what might have happened with his second choice, Bri. Later, during a night out with the cast, both Chris and Jessica recounted their breakup. Tensions rose when it was revealed that Chris had posted a photo at a strip club on social media the night of the split, and Bri noted that he had also followed and messaged her on Instagram that same night. Chris told Bri he regrets not pursuing a relationship with her, saying his intimacy with Jessica was terrible and unenjoyable. He felt Bri was someone he could have seriously considered marrying. With that, we're excited to see what happens next for Chris and Jessica when the new episodes drop on February 25.
