AOC hits back at GOP QAnon supporter over 'dumb blonde' jibe, Internet says 'that's my representative from Bronx'
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is famously known for her sassy comebacks on social media when she is facing attacks from the other side of the political aisle. And it was no different on Monday, September 21, when she snapped back at Marjorie Taylor Greene, a businesswoman from the state of Georgia and prominent QAnon conspiracy supporter who is running for Congress after the latter attacked AOC for putting an end to "dumb blonde jokes."
"As a blonde woman, I would like to take a moment to thank Congresswoman @AOC. She has single handily put an end to all 'dumb blonde' jokes. Blondes everywhere appreciate your service and your sacrifice!" Greene tweeted, to which AOC replied, "Don’t worry Mrs. Greene, I completely understand why you need to swing + miss at my intellect to make yourself feel better. You seem to have some trouble spelling your own insults correctly. Next time try 'single-handedly,' it’ll work better. Good luck writing legislation!"

She has single handily put an end to all “dumb blonde” jokes.

You seem to have some trouble spelling your own insults correctly.
Next time try “single-handedly,” it’ll work better.
Good luck writing legislation! https://t.co/y33JXVfxDc
AOC's tweet quickly went viral, and at the time of writing this article, had amassed over 307,000 likes and had more than 40,000 retweets. Fans of the congresswoman excitedly took to the comments section to the laud her for the savage comeback.
"And that is why I love AOC," one of them wrote, along with a mic-drop meme. A second commented, "I have more respect for Ms. O.C. than a lot of career politicians because she at least fights for what she believes in and is not afraid to speak against the establishment goons that rob the treasury." A third simply said, "Keep on rocking it @AOC!!!" A fourth gushed, "Perhaps she needs an example of how to use 'single-handedly' in a sentence: Example: AOC single-handedly embarrassed Marjorie Taylor Greene on Twitter." And a fifth said, "It's telling that all of these Republicans always seem to attack AOC only one time-- and never again. I wonder why that is."
Since AOC is well known for her millennial supporters, many of them also showed their appreciation of the congresswoman through various memes, with captions like "Qtastic," "Boom, "That's my representative from the Bronx!!" and "You go girl!"

Perhaps she needs an example of how to use “single-handedly” in a sentence:

However, not everyone who commented was a fan of AOC. As a result, the comments section was filled with some anti-AOC reactions too as well as some mocking memes. "Wow - the classic 'you spelled something wrong on Twitter' comeback. But hey, at least AOC knows how to correct spelling errors - now, can she fix her broken, violent district? Doubt it," one social media user wrote, while another said, "It is pretty amazing that someone could become a congressman without knowing the 3 branches of government. She must be special." A third wrote, "I’m gonna go with Marjorie on this. & always" A fourth wrote, "Thankfully you have professionals to type your tweets! Now give me a beer!"
Some of the attacking memes came with captions such as "Look AOC does support the badge, how cute!!" "I'm so proud of you aoc you managed to spell something" and "Go get her!"
