LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Disgraced reality TV star Josh Duggar's wife, Anna Renee Duggar, is reportedly questioning the future of their marriage as her husband serves a decade-long prison sentence on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. Josh was found guilty of the charges on December 9, 2021. Thereafter, on May 25, 2022, he was sentenced to 12 years and 7 months in prison. Once his prison tenure is complete, he will be under 20 years of supervised release. Moreover, it was later revealed that he is set to be released on August 12, 2032.

Josh and Anna had married in 2008 and were featured in the now-canceled reality show '19 Kids & Counting' that aired on TLC and featured the Duggar family, who are devout independent Baptists. As Josh continues to serve his prison sentence, a recent report has claimed that Anna is questioning the future of her marriage with the convicted sex offender.

Quoting a source close to the Duggar family, In Touch reported that Anna, 34, is finding it difficult to stay positive and "is very much questioning their future." The publication quoted the unnamed source, who it claimed was a family insider, as saying, “she took her wedding vows seriously and she wants to stand by her man and all that, but the reality of her situation is very difficult.”

The source acknowledged that Anna “wants Josh by her side" as a husband and father to their children Mackynzie Renee, Maryella Hope, Marcus Anthony, Mason Garett, Michael James, Meredith Grace and Madyson Lily. However, 10 years in prison "feels like a lifetime for her.” Presently, Anna is reportedly receiving counseling from “leaders in the church” on what her options are when it comes to their marriage. As per the source quoted above, Anna does not want a divorce but "she’d be lying if she said she hasn’t questioned her future with Josh.”

On May 17, 2022, Josh's cousin, Amy Duggar King told Anna that "there is no shame in divorcing Josh" in an open letter she posted on Instagram. "You're faced with an impossible decision and you're being surrounded by the wrong kind of support. You've been taught since you were a child that marriage is forever and you prayed for God to send you a partner. You've constructed a life and a family with him. You didn't choose any of this, and your kids certainly didn't either," Amy wrote in her letter.
