'Animal Kingdom' Season 6 Episode 6: Did Deran get caught during heist? Ghastly MOMENT jeopardizes robbery
Whenever the Cody Boys get together, something epic happens and this episode was no different. For the last two episodes, we are seeing that the entire family is trying to accomplish a heist at a celebrity’s house. The Cody Family has everything set and they have been making plans to get inside the house, steal the expensive jewelry and get out of the house. But what’s the plan? And did they accomplish the heist? Or does Deran get himself in trouble? Let’s take a look at what happened.
In the previous episode, we saw that every member of the family has decided what they’ll do. So, Deran (Jake Weary) will be inside the house as the policeman while Craig (Ben Robson) will be out of the gate acting as a photographer. Meanwhile, Pope and Josh will be doing the outside work. So, they started working and the aforementioned duo cut one of the pipes connecting the main washroom of the house. They block that pipe so that washroom floods with literal shit. Pope (Shawn Hatosy) gets inside the house and tells the manager that he is the maintenance guy and while working he accidentally damaged the pipe. He gets inside with his bag, which has fake jewelry in it.

He goes to the bathroom and hides the fake jewelry inside the water tank. A few moments later, Deran reaches the toilet and gets hold of those necklaces. When Pope gets out of the house, Craig plans to get inside the premises of the house and manages to do that when the celebrity arrives with his girlfriend.
However, when he believes that things won’t work, he comes out acting like he was taking their photos, and the celebrity hits him with the car. The media starts noticing that and everyone inside the house comes outside. That gives Deran the time to change the real pieces of jewelry with the exact fake replicas. However, when we thought that everything was going normal and the party had resumed. The celebrity gets in an argument with Deran because he takes the necklace away from his girlfriend. The celebrity takes the necklace in his hands and tells his girlfriend that it doesn’t need to go back to its original place because he has bought this as a gift from the jewelry guy. Deran takes a sigh of relief that the fake one didn’t get caught.
After the argument, he gets into the toilet and flushes all the original necklaces down the pipe while Pope and J are waiting on the other side to collect them. The heist is finally complete and everyone comes out safely.
The entire scene was shot perfectly and the plan the Cody Boys had made was actually pretty interesting. However, things didn’t end for Deran and Craig because in the end they got into a fight and Craig beat the hell out of his brother.
