The BTS Army is calling out fellow fandoms, particularly Astro's Arohas, for attempting to sabotage BTS' chances of winning the Global Artist Award via the Starplay app.

Starplay is a platform that allows fans to directly vote for their favorite idols, in addition to getting the chance to access exclusive content from the stars. The community allows fans to communicate with one another in addition to forming friendships with fellow fandoms. Unfortunately, they've found themselves in some hot water after the app appeared to struggle to keep up with the votes pouring in.

The BTS Army, however, believes there were attempts made by other fandoms to block the group from winning the award they were nominated for.

More specifically, BTS fans are convinced that the other fandoms caused the Starplay app to crash, thus preventing the Army from getting all their votes in. Some Armys are convinced that the move was orchestrated by the fandom of the group Astro, also known as Arohas, and have begun accusing other fandoms of teaming up with them in the effort. The accusation has not been taken lightly by the other fandoms, however, who jumped to defend themselves from the Army's attacks.

Others didn't see any issues with fandoms helping one another, stating it was a positive form of interaction between the groups.

This wasn't enough to cool the Army's anger, however, and Starplay has earned itself the ire of the BTS Army as a result. Some Armys have also declared they do not wish to engage in the fan wars, and have instead locked onto Starplay as the cause for their worries.

But, as some fans point out, there are more to the final numbers than voting alone, so BTS isn't out of the running just yet.

And not all Armys chose to vent their anger, with some choosing to look at the bright side and celebrate their victories instead.

Fans in South Korea are also now demanding Starplay give them the opportunity to revote, this time ensuring all fandoms follow fair practices and do not resort to any underhanded methods as a means to block other groups from winning awards.

Starplay is yet to respond to the fan concerns, and until they do, it is quite likely the fan wars will continue to heat up.
